I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Tires ordered on line, got a great price and they were delivered to the shop two days later. Tires look great and ride great.

All-terrain tires for light trucks and SUVs aren’t the noisy, rough, clumsy-handling beasts they were a generation ago. Today’s all-terrain tires can offer durability and tenacious traction off the pavement, balanced with refined ride quality, low noise and good road manners on the street. That’s what you can expect with the Hankook Dynapro AT2 (RF11).
The Dynapro AT2 (RF11) from Hankook is tough and rugged, with a long-lasting damage resistant tread formulation and internal construction. It can also deliver traction in a wide variety of conditions, with winter traction that merits the M+S and Three Peak Mountain Snowflake ratings for severe winter service. Additionally, the Dynapro AT2 (RF11) incorporates several innovations and features that give it the kind of ride quality and handling you’d expect from an all-season tire rather than an all-terrain one.
But hey, don’t take our word for it. Let’s get in for a closer look with this Hankook Dynapro AT2 (RF11) review.
Features and Benefits
Hankook tires might not be a household name, but they’re quickly emerging as one of the largest tire manufacturers in the world thanks, in large part, to their high-quality products. The Dynapro AT2 (RF11) is no different:
- Tread compound features fillers and flexible rubber materials for damage resistance, with a proportion of carbon black that helps lower rolling resistance to save fuel
- ProMileage technology optimizes the tire’s footprint to put more rubber in contact with the road, for long, even wear properties
- Aggressive all-terrain tread with multi-direction grooves and sipes for traction in any direction
- Combination of biting block edges and locking shoulder lugs provide additional offroad traction
- Tie bars stabilize tread for less squirm and help keep road noise down
- Staged tread block edges help cancel frequencies and resonances for lower noise
- 60,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty
- Outlined white letter sidewall looks great on a wide variety of trucks, Jeeps and SUVs
Pros and Cons
So, is this the right tire for your ride and budget? Before you decide, let’s take a look at the tire’s strengths:
PROS:
- Very durable construction
- Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified and M+S rated for winter traction
- Surprisingly quiet and comfortable ride on the highway
- Generous treadwear coverage
Unfortunately, no tire is perfect and that’s the case with the Dynapro AT2 (RF11) too:
CONS:
- A little on the pricey side
- Not the most fuel efficient tire
SimpleTire’s view on Hankook Dynapro AT2 (RF11) tires
With the Dynapro AT2 (RF11), Hankook has come into its own with a world-class all-terrain tire. The Dynapro AT2 (RF11) presents such a nice balance of off-road traction with civilized behavior on the pavement, it can be easy to forget that you’re riding on all-terrain tires, but then the traction and handling in mud, loose dirt, gravel, sand, snow, or slush will remind you again.
The outlined white letter sidewall is a classic touch that looks great on a wide variety of vehicles, and Hankook didn’t miss a trick when it came to optimizing this tire’s tread pattern for traction in a variety of conditions . The high void ratio means that the Dynapro AT2 (RF11) does a great job of ejecting mud, stones, and debris so there’s always a clear section of tread to dig in, and the 60,000 mile treadwear coverage is best-in-class for this kind of tire. All in all, we’d wholeheartedly recommend the Dynapro AT2 (RF11) from Hankook for anyone who’s looking for a great all-terrain tire for their light truck, Jeep, SUV or crossover.

Very impressed on the good price and how fast they arrived.
These tires r the best ... I bought my first set in 2017 and put 42000 miles on them and still have half the tread left I am going to put them on my daughters suburban... I Recently bought another set for my new suburban ?
Tires have performed as expected so far. Really can't comment on wet handling or winter traction.... yet (Arizona). Installation process was quick, easy, and very convenient.
These came on a truck I bought in the winter, specifically for something better in the snow, and they weren't great in the snow, but not terrible. At about 45-60 these tires can be unbearably loud, but I also am getting close to replacement. I can't judge treadwear, as they were more than half worn when I got them, and I have only put 7000 miles on them, plus some burnouts. These also get very sketchy in the rain, and I end up drifting just about every corner if it's wet asphalt.
This is my 3rd set of hankooks on different vehicles. We live 6 miles down gravel roads which is really hard on tires. I got the 10 ply tires to help with flats on my wife's Tahoe. I like the tires but I certainly would not have Firestone auto care install them. My wife waited 2 hours after our appointment before they even looked at the vehicle then it took them another hour to change 2 tires. Good Tire's but I'd buy them somewhere else
These tires ride smooth as far as being balanced Seem to get plenty of mileage out of them and as far as handling in curbs it has a lot to do with what tire high u have. It's a good looking tire And they are priced real good. I've always been a Michelin tire man but I put these tires right up there with them !
I had these installed on a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500. I previously had the Dynapro ATM and they lasted over 90,000 miles with regular rotations. Hankook discontinued the ATM and now offer the AT2 they seem to be of the same quality. Ride great and are pretty quiet for an all-terrain style tread. I am very satisfied with them this far.
