Ultra High Performance (or UHP) tires have a speed rating of V or greater and are used on sports cars, super cars, and other powerful vehicles. Commonly featuring a wide footprint and low profile, UHP tires provide excellent traction and steering response but should not be used when temperatures are at 40 degrees or below.

The Goodyear Excellence tires appear to be a decent all-around tire with good dry performance and comfort. However, there are concerns about wet weather performance and longevity for some users.
